Guests include three-time Super Bowl champion Matt Light, plus a special guest appearance by Katy Brown, who is a former classmate of Rich’s at the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University.
First up is a surprise special appearance by Katy Brown, who was recently named Sportscaster of the Year in Oregon and has long history with our humble host. The two first met during their days at Northwestern’s Medill School while obtaining their Masters degree in journalism. Katy has plenty of good stories to share about Rich in his early days, including how she helped him land his first full time gig in Redding, Calif.
After a fun stroll down memory lane, recently retired Patriots tackle Matt Light swings by for lengthy discussion about his tremendous career in New England. Light doesn’t hold back as he discusses the ups and downs of his career, how he handled the two Super Bowl losses to the Giants and the infamous party videos that were shot with him and Rob Gronkowski hours after the Super Bowl XLVI loss. Light also opens up and discusses his intensely private battle with Crohn’s disease, which nearly ended his career years ago.
It’s another fun edition of The Rich Eisen Podcast, be sure to also check out this weeks earlier podcast featuring Jeff Schaffer and Jim Mora, Sr.
